WWE vs. AEW: The Future Wrestling War?

WWE and AEW have been at war since the beginning of AEW. Things are working out well for fans of professional wrestling because both companies are competing for ratings and the title.

After AEW entered the market, WWE faced some serious competition. WWE had a monopoly in the wrestling industry for so long, but since AEW entered the picture, both wrestling promotions have done their best.

Jess McMahon established WWE in 1952. It changed its name from WWWF to WWF (World Wrestling Federation) in 1979 after becoming WWWF in 1972. Under him, it experienced a golden age and established itself as a recognized brand internationally.

To avoid further name conflicts with the World Wildlife Fund, WWF changed to WWE in 1999. Since then, it has been traded on the New York Stock Exchange as WWE.

What is AEW (All Elite Wrestling)?

The Pakistani-American Khan family, led by Shahid Khan, is providing financial support for the newest wrestling league, AEW. The CEO and President of AEW will be Tony Khan. WWE is becoming increasingly worried about AEW’s expansion.

WWE vs. AEW: Difference

The primary difference between WWE and AEW lies in their core approach to professional wrestling. WWE predominantly leans towards entertainment, while AEW embraces a more sports-centric perspective.

WWE has long established itself as an entertainment powerhouse, consistently having high viewership. The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) was founded with a commitment to a more sports-oriented focus, setting it apart from its competitors.

In terms of scheduling, AEW offers wrestlers a more relaxed schedule compared to WWE. WWE’s top talents have a demanding schedule, participating in up to three shows a week, while AEW restricts its wrestlers to a maximum of two weekly appearances. 

WWE vs. AEW: Players and Storyline

Similarly, WWE has superstars like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Bobby Lashley, AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, and others. The depth of talent in WWE ensures a wide variety of wrestling styles and characters for fans to enjoy.

WWEs Resurrection

Vince McMahon’s eventual retirement has never been expected. He has been present throughout the majority of fan’s viewing experience, making it difficult for fans to understand the change.

However, he succeeded in doing so, and with Triple H in charge, WWE has returned to its heyday. Triple H has successfully resurrected the product by reinstating a few of his NXT-inspired ideas.

WWE’s programming has consequently improved significantly. While the main series is simple to watch, the previous three pay-per-views were excellent. After a few hiccups, Summer Slam was a pleasant change of pace. Clash at the Castle was perhaps the company’s best performance of the year, and Extreme Rules showed how far things might be taken.

Many of the Superstars may be seen to be excited about what they are doing right now when they are on-air. With Triple H’s return, they also intend to bring back some former wrestlers and raise the caliber of the contests.

AEW is expanding quickly, but it must set up excellent booking criteria.

These high-profile returns will likely shape both companies’ paths for the rest of the year. AEW has been good at building new stars this year, which is crucial for their future. Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia have been successful, and Garcia’s storyline with Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson is impressive.

While AEW may have a stronger crop of young talent, WWE has also introduced promising new acts. Gunther, Solo Sikoa, and Raquel Rodriguez, showing their new approach to NXT call-ups.

Both WWE and AEW are set to finish the year on a high note, with ups and downs, but the wrestling industry is thriving, and there’s a lot to look forward to in the coming months. Neither of these companies is going down, which is great for everyone involved.
